Our story

In Azerbaijan the vine-growing and the winemaking are closely connected to the culture. Grape-growing, and particularly winemaking, experienced an adventure fraught with pitfalls to reach its current position. Favorable soil and climate conditions of the region have enabled the spreading of the viticulture for thousands of years.

The beginning of the Azerbaijani viticulture dates back to the Tertiary period. The National Research Institute of Wine and Viticulture found data testifying the age of cultivation in both the tangible and the intangible heritages. SANAM is an organic dry rose wine made from the Cinsault grape variety. It has a balanced taste with notes of strawberry, pomegranate, and nectarine and pairs beautifully with light appetizers, fresh salads, grilled fish and poultry, seafood, pizza, and soft cheeses.
